BLACK ARTISTS IN AMERICA: From the Bicentennial to September 11

This exhibition explores how Black artists addressed cultural, environmental, political, racial, and social issues from the late 1970s to the dawn of the 21st Century. They created brilliant and powerful works of art that celebrated their racial identity, communicated with Black audiences, and participated in the struggle for equality.  Curated by Dr. Earnestine Lovelle Jenkins, the exhibition features more than 50 artworks drawn from collections across the country.

Admission Prices: Adult $15; Seniors (65+)/College Student/Military $10; Youth (Ages 6 – 17) $8; and Child (Ages 5 and Under) Free. Tickets can be purchased in advance online.
