Faith organizing—spiritual activism in action—has always been a powerful force in the struggle for civil rights, justice, and human dignity. As part of the John Lewis Weekend of Action, interfaith clergy and communities will come together to honor Congressman John Lewis's legacy by inspiring civic engagement, voter education, and participation in democracy. Through worship, reflection, and action, we are called to make “good trouble” in the ongoing work of building a more just and inclusive society. The good news is this: God did not bring us this far to bring us this far.
