The Center for Spiritual Awareness Roles and Responsibilities Board of Trustees
- Keep the mission and purpose of the community fresh.
- It’s your responsibility to drive CSA planning efforts and demonstrate your leadership and commitment to the community, which includes serving as a committee leader.
- Support CSA’s programs and services and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Ensure the financial solvency of CSA.
- Help raise resources.
- Select, support, and evaluate the Senior Minister.
- Advance CSA’s public image.
- Strengthen one’s effectiveness on the board.
- The CSA Board of Trustees meets monthly, most often on the first Sunday.
- Welcome at the entrance, read the announcements, and be one of two people who count the offering.
- Select tithing recipients.
Qualifications
- Membership in CSA with regular attendance to Sunday Services.
- Completed a Science of Mind foundational course, including Foundations, Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life, Principles and Practices, or Beyond Limits. (You can join Foundations now)
- Flexible and willing to step-in where needed.
- Committed to an annual pledge (one who tithes).
- Ability to practice Principles over personalities.
- Access and use of email.
