Join Us for Recovery Sunday at CSA
We invite you to CSA for Recovery Sunday on May 18, a day dedicated to hope, healing, and recovery. This special service will focus on addressing addiction, breaking the stigma surrounding it, and providing vital information and resources for recovery.
The overdose crisis is staggering. Last year in California, over 8,900 lives were lost to drug overdoses. However, there is hope. Thanks to Narcan, over 355,000 overdoses have been reversed since 2018. Together, we can make a difference.
Our founder, Rev. Georgia Prescott, will deliver an inspiring recovery message, and we’ll explore the possibilities of recovery within our community. Did you know that an opioid overdose can be reversed using Narcan? Each of us can be the first line of defense in saving lives.
As part of this event, we are offering:
-A special mini training on Narcan: Learn what it is and how to use it effectively.
-For attendees aged 18 and older, there will be free distribution of Narcan dosages and Fentanyl testing strips to help prevent overdoses.
-Access to community-based organizations providing resources and support.
This is an educational opportunity you don’t want to miss. Let’s come together to create a community of recovery and resilience. See you on May 18!
