Our first kayaking adventure for 2025 is scheduled! Kayaking is fun and easy to learn but expect to get a little wet on legs/bum. They also rent paddle boards. Suggest a hat, sunscreen, and drinking water. To protect your phone/valuables, a dry bag is best but a zip lock bag is okay too. A photo ID is required and life vests are provided.
Reserve your rental online in advance at www.SacStateAquaticCenter.com. You must create an account and sign their required forms online in advance. If you have your own kayak or SUP, it can be launched from the beach in Nimbus Flat State Park (1912 Hazel Ave) then paddle over to meet us at the Aquatic Center docks next door.
